Welding quality management is based on self-monitoring and method tests. All our welders are qualified according to ISO 9606-1 for the different welding methods. Welding qualifications are always upgraded as necessary. Our employees are also trained for the installation of hydrogen pipelines.

Safety at work
Balanus pays particular attention to safety at work. Machinery, equipment and tools require particular care and attention. The company has a clear work safety plan in place and all our employees are up to date on safety training. The Health and Safety Representatives are responsible for maintaining an open and safe workplace. The company carries out an annual workplace survey in cooperation with the occupational health department, as a result of which the occupational safety plan and practices are updated.
In general, there are very few accidents at work in the company. We try to identify hazards in advance and thus manage risks. We monitor safety and accident rates on an annual basis and intervene immediately if there are any changes in the monitoring.
